Cotton/Rayon/Polyester blend (the true nature of the yarns is difficult to determine, and the contents are an educated guess) Textile . An expensive to produce compound weave featuring elements of jacquard, doublecloth, matelassé, and lampas. It is not reversible, but it does look quilted, which it is actually not, but arises from the fact that it is a doublecloth. The elaborate damask motif figuring is beautifully rendered and highly detailed. This was an expensive, high end, designer fabric when new.
