Description

A beautiful, vintage, high quality decorator upholstery fabric from Stroheim and Romann. Gorgeous Baroque or Rococo pattern of florals and flower seed pods. Color is a lovely sky blue. This is more of a brocade, but also could be considered a damask although the pattern is not all flat. Soft and supple, but thick and sturdy. The photos with my fingertip shows the reverse. A rayon blend with maybe a touch of silk. Good upholstery weight. This is a purchased sample from the estate of a Manhattan decorator who retired decades ago. This fabric is out of print and is hard to find. Would make a stunning pillow or small seat / stool cover. Measures 25" wide by 18". One selvage. Fresh, very good, clean condition, was well stored away in a smoke free home. There are two tiny holes where the fabric hanger is still attached. Purchased in the 1960s. A fabulous quality and such a gorgeous shade of blue. . Thank you! SHIPPING...... We ship from the West Coast. Shipping will be less than shown for most of the West Coast.
